Introduction

I developed during my bachelor a project funded by the São Paulo State Research Support Foundation (FAPESP) involving Bioinformatics and studies of genomic evolution (chromosome B) in cichlid fish, at the Laboratory of Integrative Genomics (LGI), Department of Morphology, UNESP-Botucatu. I obtained the title of Master by the IB-UNICAMP Genetics and Molecular Biology Graduate program, having developed a project, funded by FAPESP, whose purpose was to create an R package for the download and analysis of tumor data available in the GDC Data Portal. Currently, I am a PhD student in the Genetics and Molecular Biology Program (IB-UNICAMP) in the Bioinformatics area, developing methods using machine learning algorithms to stratify Acute Myeloid Leukemia patients using clinical data. This work is under supervision of Prof. Dr. Marcelo Mendes Brandão in the Integrative and Systemic Biology Laboratory (LaBIS).
